A little about me……
I am a Seattle-based Portrait, Lifestyle and Branding Photographer, fueled by caffeine and a wanderlust attitude! I am married to an amazing woman, a fur mom to Chica (13 year old snuggly & sweet Chihuahua) & Miesa (12-ish year old cat that doesn’t understand personal space).
Photography has always been something that I’ve enjoyed. I didn’t really find my “eye or style” for photography until about 2007-8 when I just started seeing things differently….exploring angles and composition…seeing things from a different perspective – mine. In 2009, I decided to leave the confines of a cubicle existence in the corporate world and follow my passion – photography and travel…and I haven’t looked back once.
I enjoy working on a wide variety of projects, but my main focus and area of expertise is portrait and lifestyle photography and creating branded content for individuals and businesses. I’m passionate about being creative and finding projects to keep me engaged and learning.
I am a photographer….a traveler….a dreamer….
It is my passion, and my job….
I have felt like a bit of a nomad my entire life. Being the youngest of six kids, I found myself creating an adventurous world around me. I was always imagining explorations and far off places to visit and as I grew older, my sense of adventure kept growing as I paged through National Geographic and other publications that I found – dreaming of all the places that I could go to and people I could meet, near and far. I still find myself with a constant stack of magazine subscriptions, imagining trips and visits in the not to distant future….
My travel list so far includes London, England as well as several other cities throughout the country; Prague, Czech Republic; Dresden and Munich, Germany; Vienna, Austria; Kathmandu, Nepal (and surrounding villages & towns); New Delhi, Allahabad, Varanasi, India; USVI, BVI, Sint Maarten, Puerto Rico, Bahamas; Vancouver, BC Canada; and the USA (only Alaska and North Dakota left!)
